Northrop Grumman Scholars Fund

  • Scholarship money will be awarded to students who are math, engineering, computer science, computer information systems, physical sciences, and cyber security majors who have been identified as meeting established criteria.
  • Current students are eligible to apply. In this first year for fall 2019, each college will choose one first-year student and one second-year student to award. In subsequent years, colleges would only have to choose a first-year student, assuming the second-year student is still enrolled and eligible to continue to receive the scholarship. A separate application form is required (see additional information attached).
  • Scholarships vary in amounts up to $2,000 per year and can be used for tuition, fees, and books.
  • Scholarship recipients will be assigned a faculty mentor and participate in a Northrop Grumman summer internship and orientation session.
  • Students receiving the scholarship for their second year are encouraged to mentor the new first-year student, and possibly assist with their recruitment.
Criteria – students must be at least 18 years of age; a US citizen; maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credits); have a minimum 3.0 GPA; been placed in, or completed, a college-level math course; and participate in the scholarship program activities (listed above).
