Riderwood by Erickson Living Scholarship Program
Full-time and Part-time students
1. Enroll as a full-time or part-time culinary or food
service student
2. Demonstrate an interest in a career in food service
3. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during the semester
to be considered (official high school or Prince
George’s Community College transcripts required)
4. Enroll in and maintain a minimum of six credit
hours during semester of award at Prince George’s
Community College
5. Must be willing to participate in program
enrichment opportunities (internships, mentoring,
and job shadowing)
6. Must be six credits or less shy of finishing the
certificate programs in either Cullinary Arts or
Food and Beverage or must have completed the
certificate programs in either Culinary Arts or
Food and Beverage and have applied for transfer
to complete the respective Associate of Applied
Science (A.A.S.) degree at Prince George’s
Community College
7. Must commit to regular scheduled meetings with
program director or advisor
8. Provide essay, two letters of recommendation, and
be available for an interview
