Full-time
1. Enrolled in a Degree Program (Degree Seeker)
2. Open to All Majors
3. Minimum 2.5 GPA (transcripts required)
4. Resident of Prince George’s County
5. Enroll in and maintain a minimum of 12 credit hours during semester of award at PGCC
6. Demonstrate financial need
7. Must submit up to three (3) recommendation letters with at least one from a teacher, faculty member or supervisor.
8. High school seniors are welcome to apply, must be admitted to PGCC and must meet all other criteria.

Special Essay Required
In 200 to 300 words explain clearly and concisely why you should be selected as the recipient of this scholarship. What is your vision and what do you expect to achieve in your educational pursuits at Prince George’s Community College? What is your commitment to help others in your community?
