Marlene Carpenter Philosophy Scholarship

Full-time or Part-time Philosophy Students
1. At end of semester in which application is submitted, applicant must have completed 18 college credits
2. Minimum 3.5 GPA
3. Completion of a minimum of three credits in philosophy at Prince George’s Community College with an A average. (If applicant is enrolled in their first course in philosophy at Prince George’s Community College at time of application, application must include a letter from the student’s philosophy instructor stating that student is carrying an A average.)
4. Tuition and fees only
5. Applicants may be interviewed by departmental committee
