1. Must be seeking a degree in Health Information Management
2. Minimum 2.5 GPA
3. Enroll in and maintain 12 credit hours if full-time and six credit hours if part-time during semester of award
4. Must have completed HIM 1500 Fundamentals
of Health Information
5. U.S. citizen
6. Resident of Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Calvert,
Charles, or St. Mary’s Counties
7. Demonstrate financial need
